Classes & Passes

The Barefoot community is very welcoming, understanding and fun. We were all beginners once! Just leave your worries at the door (with your shoes and cell phone) and let our experienced instructors guide you on an hour-long session of awesome suggestions!

Barefoot 500

Join Brianna for this yoga inspired full body strengthening and body sculpt challenge  Every class has 5 different yoga based movements with 100 repetitions of each to bring full body strength and mobility.  Members have access to the Barefoot 500 page where the routines will be posted live, 4 days a week

That’s right access to your 500’s wherever you are, wherever you go, as long as you have wifi.

ALL LEVELS

Bionic Yoga

Whether it is your knee, hip, shoulder, or any other part, you now have the bionic strength of replacement parts. Learn to work your body with grace and skill, enhance your physical support of the replacement joint, tone ligaments, and realign the signals from the body to brain.  Join your bionic buddies (non-bionics welcome)

Booty yoga-ish

Bellies, buns, hammies, and quads.  A workout to tone and shape the body using yoga and some not yoga.  Expect to sweat and burn!

Cool 52 Power

This 52 asana flow is inspired by one of America’s favorite routines. In repetition, we allow the body to learn the movements “by heart” and creating meditation in motion. We may not be heated, but you can expect to sweat.

Hatha

An exploration of breath with movement. Classes start and end with pranayama breath practices to prepare the body for movement and return the body to a state of stillness before the class ends. For the beginner or advanced yogi moving into the poses, in the Hatha tradition, gently while attaching the movement to the breath, taking time to strengthen, hold, balance, and transition safely.

LEVEL 2-4

Fresh Start

From a gentle stretch, to a flow, no class is the same in Fresh Start. Each class, every day, is geared toward the requirements and wishes of the students. A place for students of all levels. Beginners learn yoga language, body mechanics and explore each pose to its fullest. More advanced yogis can enjoy working to their edge to maximize their strength and flexibility. Modifications and guidance are offered for all students at every level, take your practice up a notch or tone it down depending on the day.

LEVEL 2-5

Gentle Yoga

Stay low to the floor and explore the softer side of yoga. Indulge yourself in stretching, soft movement and breathing, and be inspired to drop in, relax, let go, and become fully present. Perfect for the beginning yogi and highly beneficial for the advanced.

LEVEL 1-3

Glow and Flow Reiki

A candlelit room, a soft flow, energy ebbing, and flowing throughout the practice.  Focusing your mind, body, and spirit on the energy you create.

Meditation/Nidra

A 30 minute yoga nidra or meditation session 4 days a week.  Choose your spot to get comfortable and travel to a place of serenity and calmness with this guided meditation/nidra class.

The world will drop away as you rest, restore and revive your body, mind and spirit.

All LEVELS

Not Hot 26

Inspired by the 26 yoga posture routine used in Bikram. Move through a set routine, teaching the body to hold a shape, breathe steady and concentrate on your inner self… AND MINUS THE HEAT. This practice allows you to come to a meditative state and move deeper into yourself.

Power Flows

An invigorating flow class that will have you moving and breathing through your postures. Take on new challenges with invitation to experiment with rapid movement through your flows and practice more advanced arm balances, inversions, twists, and backbends. Explore your edge as you build your strength. Modifications are offered.

LEVEL 4-5

Restorative Yoga

This practice is designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body and mind. A sequence of supported poses by the use of props held for several minutes allow for passive stretching, better posture, a calmer nervous system and a quieter mind. This class is appropriate for students of all levels.

LEVEL 1-2

Slow Strength

Using slow deliberate strong movements and longer holds this class builds strength and integrity in each pose. Start out slowly and building in strength and intensity as the class progresses into a powerful slow flow. Enjoy new challenges as poses are taken to an intriguing depth, balance is challenged and props enhance the depth of each challenge.

LEVEL 3-5

"The Dude" - Men’s Yoga

Have you realized that men are different than women?

This class is designed especially with the MAN’s body in mind. Instructions and variations are given to better suit the density and structural differences experienced. The “style” of each class will be based on the needs of the students in the studio space. Men, This one is for you. Please enjoy.

Yin Yoga

Long, delicious holds of passive poses to get to the connective tissue and deep into the joints for an amazing yoga experience. Yin yoga is a quiet practice suitable for students of all levels. Through longer held postures targeting the connective tissue of the low back, hips and hamstrings, Yin Yoga invites you to slow down and create space for stillness while nourishing joints, ligaments, tendons and fascia. Poses are seated, supine or prone and are held with muscles relaxed for several minutes. Focus on your breath, being present in the moment, relieving tension and letting go. The Yin practice gives powerful mental and emotional benefits as practitioners becomes quiet, still and mindful of the present. Give yourself this opportunity to surrender, slow down and come back to balance. A perfect complement for your more challenging practices.

LEVEL 1-2

Yoga Basics

Focus on a different pose in each class. Each day the pose is broken down into its most basic components. Focusing on stretching properly, building strength in the areas of focus, proper alignment and breath you start moving toward the chosen pose through a series of asanas that prepare the body to take the chosen pose with ease and competence. Great place for beginners to learn the basics and anyone who wants to work on individual poses.
